Our Acupuncturist

Erin McVey

Erin was first introduced to Oriental Medicine during a very stressful time of her life. Through the use of acupuncture and herbal medicine, Erin experienced a profound shift, not only in her outlook on life, but also in her physical and emotional health. She credits the treatments she received for allowing her to continue her courses and obtain a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Biology.
Intrigued and eager to learn more, Erin began studying Oriental Medicine at the Southwest Acupuncture College (USA) where she discovered a profound desire to work with her hands. Erin graduated, with honors, from the Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute and maintained a successful practice California.
Fulfilling a childhood dream, Erin moved to Ireland. She completed a yearlong apprenticeship with the Institute of Natural Medicine Ireland and received her Acupuncture Licentiate and a diploma in Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage).
Erin uses Tui Na, often coupled with Acupuncture, to address sports injuries, chronic pain conditions and muscular tension. She is passionate about women’s health and is specializing in reproductive health and emotional wellbeing. Erin is also a practitioner of Chinese Abdominal Massage, which benefits the health of both the reproductive and digestive systems.
