A personal journey through yoga, self care and mindfulness.
In this 6 month in depth course:
- We will explore Yoga – the philosophy, the practice and how to develop a home a practice.
- We will cover different aspects of practice; from the traditional postures all the way through to the evolution of yoga.
- We will explore dynamic flowing sequences, grounding practices, restorative yoga, yin yoga, mindfulness, pranayama and meditation.
Drawing on ancient wisdom combined with modern knowledge of anatomy and stress, we will learn how to practice self care at home with props, restorative exercise and biomechanics to restore balance to the body, and somatic movement to release tension from tight muscles with mindful, flowing movements suitable for everyone and anyone.
This course will give you time for yourself, a way to focus on your journey with yoga, on expanding your knowledge and developing a home yoga practice, mindfulness practice and self care routine. It will be a personal journey which will both enlighten and enrich.
